Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
• Adaptability, organization, and a passion for working with children and adolescents

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and related service providers to deliver coordinated care
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain accurate documentation
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal development for students
• Monitor progress, adjust therapeutic interventions, and recommend adaptive equipment as needed
• Promote student independence, access to curriculum, and participation in school activities
