Step into a rewarding role supporting children in their earliest years by providing physical therapy services in partnership with schools and families. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact through early intervention, working predominantly in homes while collaborating with educational teams in the region. You’ll engage with a diverse pediatric population, focusing on early childhood needs, and provide consultation as part of an experienced team dedicated to nurturing the development of every child.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist license in Oregon, or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and early intervention physical therapy
  • Knowledge of school-based PT practices and consultation models (ECSE)
  • Comfort traveling within Douglas County, with most assignments in the Roseburg area and occasional travel to surrounding communities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and other support staff
  • Skilled in designing and adapting therapy plans in home and early learning environments
  • Reliable communication and organization skills

Primary Duties:

  • Deliver physical therapy services primarily through early intervention, including home visits to support young children’s developmental needs
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with caregivers and educational teams
  • Provide consultation for Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs as needed
  • Document progress and adjust intervention strategies to maximize outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary planning
  • Offer education and resources to families to support progress beyond therapy sessions

This full-time contract includes a set schedule of 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 11, 2027.
