You’ll engage with a diverse pediatric population, focusing on early childhood needs, and provide consultation as part of an experienced team dedicated to nurturing the development of every child.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license in Oregon, or eligibility for licensure
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and early intervention physical therapy
- Knowledge of school-based PT practices and consultation models (ECSE)
- Comfort traveling within Douglas County, with most assignments in the Roseburg area and occasional travel to surrounding communities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and other support staff
- Skilled in designing and adapting therapy plans in home and early learning environments
- Reliable communication and organization skills
Primary Duties:
- Deliver physical therapy services primarily through early intervention, including home visits to support young children’s developmental needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with caregivers and educational teams
- Provide consultation for Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs as needed
- Document progress and adjust intervention strategies to maximize outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary planning
- Offer education and resources to families to support progress beyond therapy sessions
This full-time contract includes a set schedule of 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 11, 2027.
