A contract opportunity is now available for a Physical Therapist skilled in school-based and early intervention services. This position primarily involves working with children in early intervention programs, including in-home visits and some Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) consulting, with a focus on serving families and students across Douglas County and the Roseburg area.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Prior experience in school-based or early intervention pediatric settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and therapy best practices
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable providing services in home and community settings
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with families and educators
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering in-home PT services to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers as part of a dynamic early intervention program
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and tracking progress
- Collaborating with families, educators, and other service providers to support students’ goals
- Limited consulting for ECSE programs as needed
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting in accordance with program requirements
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to provide up-to-date, evidence-based care
