Make a difference in the lives of young children while working alongside a supportive education community. A contract opportunity is now available for a Physical Therapist skilled in school-based and early intervention services. This position primarily involves working with children in early intervention programs, including in-home visits and some Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) consulting, with a focus on serving families and students across Douglas County and the Roseburg area.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Prior experience in school-based or early intervention pediatric settings
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and therapy best practices
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable providing services in home and community settings
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with families and educators

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering in-home PT services to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers as part of a dynamic early intervention program
  • Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and tracking progress
  • Collaborating with families, educators, and other service providers to support students’ goals
  • Limited consulting for ECSE programs as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting in accordance with program requirements
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to provide up-to-date, evidence-based care
