Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist

  • Familiarity with IEPs and special education services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse needs in dynamic classroom settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational progress
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group formats
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress and outcomes
  • Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to reinforce motor skills, mobility, and self-care
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district guidelines
