Physical Therapist - School Setting in Okemos, MI

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Michigan
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEPs, goal setting, and documentation requirements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing caseload needs across multiple age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on PT goals and progress
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress in compliance with school and legal guidelines
• Serve as a resource for staff about safe mobility, adaptive equipment, and classroom accommodations
• Maintain a consistent, supportive presence across assigned campuses
