School-Based Physical Therapist - Olympia, Washington

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington
• Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to support students, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a compassionate approach
• Knowledge of current best practices in school-based PT services

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs and educational objectives
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student participation and progress
• Document evaluations, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide training or consultation to staff as needed
• Encourage student independence and advocate for necessary accommodations within the school environment
