Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid PT license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience as a physical therapist in a school environment or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to assess and provide therapy for a diverse K-12 student caseload
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
• Strong time management and documentation abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services for students across multiple grade levels, spending approximately 2 hours per week onsite
• Evaluate students’ physical abilities and develop individualized therapy plans to address their unique needs
• Work with educators to integrate therapy goals into students’ educational programs
• Maintain compliance through timely and accurate documentation of services and progress
• Participate in student team meetings, providing input on IEPs and progress reports
