Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid PT license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience as a physical therapist in a school environment or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to assess and provide therapy for a diverse K-12 student caseload
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Strong time management and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services for students across multiple grade levels, spending approximately 2 hours per week onsite
- Evaluate students’ physical abilities and develop individualized therapy plans to address their unique needs
- Work with educators to integrate therapy goals into students’ educational programs
- Maintain compliance through timely and accurate documentation of services and progress
- Participate in student team meetings, providing input on IEPs and progress reports
