Physical Therapist - School Setting in Orange, NJ

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools within a vibrant K-12 district. This full-time role promises variety as you work with a diverse range of students, providing essential physical therapy services to help every learner achieve their goals. You’ll enjoy a steady weekday schedule from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, working district-wide from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license
• Prior experience or strong interest in school-based PT (K-12)
• Ability to navigate multiple schools within a district
• Willingness to complete all New Jersey onboarding requirements (TB test, physical, fingerprinting for both staffing agency and district)
• Comfortable participating in a virtual interview via Zoom
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students according to IEPs and district needs
• Assess, document, and track student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
• Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide consultation and resources for teachers and special education staff
• Travel between district schools as scheduled, ensuring timely service delivery
