School Physical Therapist | Orange, New Jersey

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Physical Therapist across multiple schools in a dynamic district. This full-time contract position allows you to make a meaningful difference, working district-wide with students of varying abilities and grade levels. Your day will begin at 8:30AM and wrap up at 3:15PM, providing a stable schedule while fostering growth and movement in young learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP-driven interventions and supporting students with diverse physical needs
• Willingness to work across multiple school locations within the district
• Ability to complete or obtain all New Jersey-specific compliance requirements, including:
  • TB test
  • Physical exam
  • Fingerprinting (for both staffing agency and the school district)
• Comfortable participating in a Zoom-based interview

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in their educational plans
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Document evaluations and session notes in a timely, professional manner
• Assist in developing and revising individualized interventions
• Rotate between assigned schools as needed to deliver district-wide coverage
