Located within a caring school environment near South Holland and Orland Park, IL, you'll work approximately 16-21 hours per week.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Illinois
  • Prior experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and pediatric therapy protocols
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Evaluate and assess student needs, creating engaging therapy plans targeted to each student’s goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progress and generalization of skills
  • Document session notes, progress reports, and collaborate on IEP reviews and updates
  • Consult with staff on strategies to adapt classroom activities, ensuring accessibility and participation for all students
