Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy (PT) licensure for the state of Illinois
- Experience in school-based physical therapy services is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent physical therapy needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt and tailor interventions to diverse student populations
- Enthusiastic, compassionate, and flexible approach to client care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions to students based on IEPs and referrals
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ physical functions and develop targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s educational experience
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to ensure effective outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports as required by the school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals as part of a multidisciplinary team
