Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois, or eligibility to obtain
• Prior experience in a school-based, pediatric, or educational environment preferred
• Deep understanding of child development, sensory-motor integration, and physical therapy practices in school settings
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Flexibility, organization, and commitment to fostering a positive student experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and therapy sessions for students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, and other educational professionals to support students’ needs
• Maintain clear and compliant documentation of assessments, goals, and treatment progress
• Educate caregivers and school staff on therapeutic interventions and strategies for optimal student performance
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary support team
• Adhere to all school district policies, best clinical practices, and ethical standards
