School Physical Therapist | Palatine, Illinois

Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a school-based Physical Therapist in the Palatine, IL area! This contract, onsite position starts with orientation on August 3 and 4, 2026, with students arriving August 7 and concludes May 20, 2027. Qualifications/Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings preferred
• Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices

Responsibilities:

• Deliver PT services to students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student development
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Stay current on best practices in school-based therapy
