Qualifications:
- Valid and current Physical Therapist license (CA)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and document progress
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to working alongside educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Evaluate students and develop treatment goals to support mobility, motor skills, and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support students' physical development
- Adapt interventions to foster an inclusive, accessible learning environment
