Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active State Physical Therapist license (sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a strong plus but not mandatory
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, evidence-based physical therapy interventions to students, supporting their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student progress and successful access to the school curriculum
- Document and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and contributing to student-centered planning
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training as provided
