School-Based Physical Therapist - Paterson, New Jersey

This role spans an engaging academic year from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, supporting the diverse needs of children across an entire district. Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current Physical Therapist license valid in New Jersey
• Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt PT strategies for various developmental stages
• Able to obtain/complete all New Jersey requirements, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for both the agency and school district
• Willingness to participate in a virtual Zoom interview

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to students across multiple school sites
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and collaborate on IEP teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Travel between school locations as needed within district hours
• Maintain thorough documentation compliant with district, state, and federal standards
• Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and support staff on student progress
• Contribute to a positive, dynamic, and student-focused school environment
