Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Proven experience in PT within schools or similar pediatric environments
• Comprehensive knowledge of current best practices in physical therapy
• Ability to effectively evaluate, plan, and execute individualized treatment plans for students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with documentation, compliance, and IEP processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students with a variety of needs, focusing on maximizing functional independence and educational participation
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ motor skill levels and develop personalized intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success across school routines
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and required reports in adherence to federal, state, and district standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding goals, accommodations, and adaptive equipment as needed
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies and exercises to reinforce gains and ensure carryover beyond therapy sessions
