Physical Therapist - School Setting in Peachtree City, GA

Located near Peachtree City, GA, you'll play a vital role in fostering students’ physical development, mobility, and overall well-being within a collaborative educational team.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia
• Prior experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare PT settings preferred
• Strong clinical and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to best practices in therapy, inclusivity, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adaptable and positive, with a passion for helping children succeed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in compliance with IEPs and district policies
• Assess, evaluate, and document student abilities, needs, and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and update treatment plans
• Train and guide school staff on mobility, positioning, and health strategies for student support
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with local and federal guidelines
