Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in New York State
- Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy, especially working with children aged 3–5
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work onsite for all contracted dates
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group physical therapy services to preschool students
- Assess students’ motor development and create customized intervention strategies
- Collaborate with fellow therapists, educators, and families for holistic support
- Keep thorough records of progress, updating goals and adjusting interventions as needed
- Engage in team meetings, providing expertise to guide student progress
- Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
