Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New York State
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy, especially working with children aged 3–5
• Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work onsite for all contracted dates

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group physical therapy services to preschool students
• Assess students’ motor development and create customized intervention strategies
• Collaborate with fellow therapists, educators, and families for holistic support
• Keep thorough records of progress, updating goals and adjusting interventions as needed
• Engage in team meetings, providing expertise to guide student progress
• Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
