A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Physical Therapist to support Extended School Year (ESY) services for a small K-12 caseload. You’ll work with seven students at two conveniently located school sites within close proximity to each other.

The assignment runs from July 6th to August 6th, with consistent weekly hours—one day each week from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. This schedule offers the perfect balance for professionals seeking meaningful engagement without a full-time summer commitment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid Physical Therapist license for the state
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Skilled in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Comfortable traveling between two school sites (approximately six miles apart)
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to K-12 students
  • Assess student needs and develop appropriate therapy interventions for the ESY period
  • Document progress, maintain compliance with IEP goals, and communicate regularly with the educational team
  • Travel between two school locations as needed during assigned hours
  • Empower students to achieve their physical and academic potential in a supportive setting
