Physical Therapist - School Setting in Philadelphia, PA

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license and certification
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy
• Strong skills in performing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations (Evals)
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, adaptability, and a collaborative approach, especially when working with homebound or medically fragile students

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical therapy assessments and prepare clear, actionable evaluation reports for a homebound student
• Develop and monitor individualized care and treatment plans, adapting as needed to meet evolving student goals
• Deliver one-on-one therapeutic interventions in a home setting, maintaining a positive and encouraging atmosphere
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support each student’s unique needs
• Keep diligent records of progress, attendance, and communications, ensuring compliance with IEP and district requirements
• Act as a resource and advocate for the student and family, answering questions and providing recommendations for further support
