Physical Therapist - School Setting in Philadelphia, PA

Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist, supporting students in an engaging onsite environment near Philadelphia. Work closely with a K-12 caseload, primarily supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID). The caseload size is manageable and features low incidental classroom participation, allowing you to focus more deeply on individualized interventions and meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold an active Physical Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is essential
• Comfortable supporting K-12 students, particularly those with ASD and ID
• Experience working within urban schools strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Willingness to disclose district information and share credentials upon request
• Professionalism in virtual interview settings (platform: Zoom)

Key Duties:

• Deliver in-person therapy services in a school environment
• Assess student needs, develop and implement treatment plans
• Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student achievement
• Adhere to state, district, and professional ethical standards

Work Details:

• 35 hours per week, 1 full-time opening
• Small, focused student caseload
