Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid State Physical Therapist license (active and in good standing with the State Board of Physical Therapy)
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable, but motivated new grads will also be considered
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and school teams
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ gross motor needs and abilities
• Develop and deliver personalized physical therapy services as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied health professionals to support student goals
• Provide consultative services and assist with classroom adaptations and equipment recommendations
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings to contribute expertise for student plans
• Deliver education and training to staff and families as needed
