School-Based Physical Therapist - Pinnacle, NC

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor interventions to a diverse student population
• Organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ motor skills and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct physical therapy interventions in both individual and group formats
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for student accommodations
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and access
