Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience providing PT services in school or pediatric settings
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal setting
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Organization and adaptability to engage with various ages and ability levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students referred for PT services and develop effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to support student success
  • Implement interventions and adapt them to students’ unique needs and progress
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward treatment goals
  • Support classroom accessibility and student participation in school routines
  • Attend meetings to gather details, discuss student needs, and share professional input
