Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience providing PT services in school or pediatric settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal setting
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Organization and adaptability to engage with various ages and ability levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students referred for PT services and develop effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to support student success
- Implement interventions and adapt them to students’ unique needs and progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward treatment goals
- Support classroom accessibility and student participation in school routines
- Attend meetings to gather details, discuss student needs, and share professional input
