• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical abilities and develop individualized goals and intervention plans
• Deliver direct PT services to students per established plans of care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings
• Provide guidance to school staff and families on student mobility and adaptive equipment needs
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Advocate for student inclusion, accessibility, and functional independence within the classroom environment
