Physical Therapist - School Setting in Pittsford, NY

This rewarding contract opportunity runs from late April through the end of June, providing vital therapy services as a long-term substitute. You’ll have the unique chance to work across two welcoming school locations, primarily serving K-5 students three days each week.

What we're seeking:

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New York State
• Previous pediatric or school-based physical therapy experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively with elementary-age (K-5) children
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to travel between two school locations on assigned days
• Strong organizational skills for managing schedules and documentation
• Commitment to supporting students and teachers in reaching therapy goals

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services under the guidance of supervising PT
• Implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Monitor and document progress, maintaining accurate records
• Communicate regularly with the therapy team, educators, and parents
• Support integration of therapeutic activities within classroom and school settings
• Adhere to district, legal, and ethical standards for pediatric therapy
• Help foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student success
