This opportunity runs now through August 19, working weekdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Physical Therapist license for the state
  • Experience in school-based therapy, preferably across K-12 grade levels
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ developmental needs
  • Adaptability to work with a diverse population of students
  • Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote motor skills, strength, and mobility
  • Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapeutic goals into the classroom environment
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations for student success
  • Provide education and support to staff and families to enhance consistency in therapy interventions
