This contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year invites you to support a diverse K-12 student population, working with approximately 25 students across a three-day workweek. Desired Background and Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with current state credentials
  • Previous experience in a school environment, preferably K-12
  • Strong ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy for varied developmental levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Dedicated to fostering student independence and functional ability within the educational setting

Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver physical therapy services that promote student access to their educational programs
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive environment
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation per school and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and assist in the development of student-specific interventions
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed
  • Provide training or resources to staff/caregivers to support carryover of skills
