You’ll experience the fulfillment of fostering students’ development while benefiting from a consistent, part-time schedule. The schools are located in the vicinity of Avon and Plainfield, Indiana, serving learners from kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children across K-12
- Familiarity with IEPs and school documentation requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
- Prior school-based PT experience is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ motor skills and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and engage families in the therapy process
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
