Physical Therapist - School Setting in Plainfield, IN

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous school-based PT experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized therapy goals
• Flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in need of physical therapy services
• Deliver direct therapy sessions to enhance students’ mobility, strength, coordination, and access to their educational environment
• Regularly document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize each student’s success and participation in school activities
• Provide training and resources to school personnel to facilitate therapeutic strategies in the classroom
