Physical Therapist - School Setting in Pleasant Hill, CA

Exciting opportunity available for a licensed Physical Therapist eager to support students and make a meaningful difference within a welcoming school environment. This part-time, contract role offers a chance to collaborate with dedicated education professionals while working closely with students to increase their access to learning and enhance their mobility and physical confidence. Enjoy a schedule of 3-4 days per week throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

Earn between $55 and $70 per hour as you empower young individuals to achieve their physical therapy goals in an encouraging, resourceful setting.

Ideal candidates will bring the following:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for practice within the state
• Experience working in a school or educational environment (preferred)
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy techniques and best practices
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Compassion, patience, and effective communication skills
• Capable of collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations for students referred for PT services
• Developing customized treatment plans to support student mobility and participation
• Delivering direct therapy in both group and individual settings
• Documenting progress notes and contributing to IEP meetings
• Educating staff and families on strategies and exercises to further student development
• Staying up-to-date on best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements
