The primary focus will be providing coverage for a maternity leave during the first 12 weeks of the school year, with potential for an earlier start during the extended summer session.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Physical Therapy (PT) license required
  • Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel between school locations as an itinerant professional
  • Must complete fingerprinting requirements; those with valid prints in the AHCA Clearinghouse may accelerate onboarding
  • Preparedness to apply for and obtain a JLA badge (processing up to 10 business days after clearance)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to a diverse student population, with caseload details to be confirmed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student outcomes within the educational setting
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation in accordance with school district and state guidelines
  • Travel between campuses as assigned, ensuring consistent service delivery
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
