Qualifications & Experience
- Valid PT licensure in the state of Florida
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to a new environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of 37 students
- Develop and implement individualized PT plans in conjunction with IEP teams
- Assess students’ motor abilities and track progress throughout the assignment
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights as needed
