This position offers the flexibility to work full-time, with 30 contacts weekly (35 hours billable), or to split hours for those seeking a part-time schedule. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to the needs of individual students
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver targeted interventions to promote motor development and functional independence
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support students’ academic and physical success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Educate staff and students on techniques to facilitate mobility and prevent injury
- Travel between assigned schools, if necessary, within the schedule
