School-Based Physical Therapist - Port Deposit, Maryland

This position offers the flexibility to work full-time, with 30 contacts weekly (35 hours billable), or to split hours for those seeking a part-time schedule. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver targeted interventions to promote motor development and functional independence
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support students’ academic and physical success
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Educate staff and students on techniques to facilitate mobility and prevent injury
• Travel between assigned schools, if necessary, within the schedule
