Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Maryland
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for children with diverse needs

  • Collaborative mindset and flexibility within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Engage in regular communication with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding students’ progress
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and outcomes
  • Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom modifications to support student mobility
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the educational team
