Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license for Florida
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP documentation and goal setting for K-12 students
- Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work with a wide range of student abilities, adapting your approach to meet varied needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct PT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to K-12 learners
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
- Maintain clear, timely documentation on each student’s progress and intervention strategies
- Provide in-service training and guidance to educators regarding best PT practices in the classroom
