Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active or eligible Physical Therapy license in Maine
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and related service providers
• Strong communication, time management, and adaptability skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
• Deliver direct therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support students’ participation in educational activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on students’ physical development
• Offer input on adaptive equipment and accessibility within the school environment
• Support ongoing progress toward students’ motor goals and functional mobility
