Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in New York State
• Previous experience in school settings or pediatric therapy highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of PT/PTA services within educational environments
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to individualized care and student advocacy

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and develop goal-oriented treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
• Deliver high-quality PT services using best practices and evidence-based approaches
• Work closely with teachers and other school staff to support students’ functional mobility and access to curriculum
• Monitor progress, document services, and participate in student support meetings as needed
• Provide education and guidance to families and staff on physical therapy interventions
