Make an immediate impact supporting elementary students by covering a physical therapy leave during the school year. This contract opportunity will have you working closely with young learners, collaborating with school therapists, and helping children thrive in their educational environment.

You’ll work across five elementary buildings, supporting students with diverse needs from mid-December through mid-March, aligning closely with the school’s unique schedule. The role offers a structured weekday schedule (Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM), making it ideal for professionals who appreciate regular hours and the chance to focus on supporting children’s physical development.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with school-based experience preferred
• Prior work with elementary-age children strongly desired
• Ability to adapt plans to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility regarding the precise leave dates and willingness to coordinate with the existing PT for one week before and after the maternity leave

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services for elementary students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions across multiple school sites
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to foster student progress
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress records
• Participate in pre-leave handover and post-leave transition for continuity of care
