Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare environment preferred
  • Expertise in evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans for students ages PreK-12
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with teachers, administration, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational setting
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance guidelines

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical therapy assessments and provide evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals within educational plans
  • Support students with mobility, balance, coordination, and motor skill development
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
  • Offer consultative support and training for staff to ensure the carryover of therapy strategies
