A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist to provide in-person services within a public school setting. This role involves delivering specialized therapy during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, supporting students’ physical development and mobility needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized physical therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to support students’ physical functionality and school participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Attend relevant meetings and contribute to individualized education plan (IEP) development

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Experience working in school or pediatric therapy settings preferred
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones and pediatric physical therapy techniques
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work effectively in an educational environment
