Make an impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Physical Therapist working in a supportive educational environment on a contract basis. This rewarding in-person role focuses on delivering services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, directly supporting students’ growth, development, and access to learning.

You’ll collaborate with educators and families in a welcoming school community near Quincy, MA, using your clinical expertise to design and implement individualized interventions for students of varying abilities. Your contributions will help create positive educational experiences and foster greater independence for students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
  • Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Ability to effectively assess motor skills and develop targeted therapy plans
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and collaborative spirit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based, direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine therapy needs
  • Develop treatment goals aligned with educational objectives
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and complete timely documentation of services and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and future needs
