Physical Therapist - School Setting in Quincy, MA

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and documentation requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and support staff
• Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload of students with diverse physical needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ physical abilities and needs
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans that align with educational objectives
• Provide direct therapy for students, adapting strategies to maximize progress
• Document progress and report findings to educational staff and family members
• Attend and participate in meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations
• Offer guidance, training, and resources to caregivers and educational teams
• Maintain compliance with school and state regulations regarding therapy services
