Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience as a PT in a school-based setting preferred
  • Adept at collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy interventions
  • Committed to upholding ethical and professional standards in all interactions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person physical therapy services for ESY programs, targeting students’ mobility, gross motor skills, and functional independence
  • Perform evaluations, establish treatment goals, and document progress in accordance with student IEPs
  • Work closely with classroom teachers and related service providers to ensure coordinated support
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies for integrating therapeutic activities throughout the day
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
