Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) required
  • Prior experience in school, pediatric, or ESY settings strongly preferred
  • Skilled in evaluating, planning, and providing therapy services to meet individual student IEP goals
  • Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse school environment, supporting children and adolescents

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
  • Conduct assessments, set measurable goals, and document student progress
  • Provide direct therapy both individually and in small groups, fostering functional success in school routines
  • Stay organized and maintain timely records for all assigned students

Assignment Details:

  • Short-term contract: July 6 – August 3
  • Approximately 3 days per week
  • ESY program focused on maintaining and enhancing student skills over the summer
