Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) required
- Prior experience in school, pediatric, or ESY settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in evaluating, planning, and providing therapy services to meet individual student IEP goals
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse school environment, supporting children and adolescents
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Conduct assessments, set measurable goals, and document student progress
- Provide direct therapy both individually and in small groups, fostering functional success in school routines
- Stay organized and maintain timely records for all assigned students
Assignment Details:
- Short-term contract: July 6 – August 3
- Approximately 3 days per week
- ESY program focused on maintaining and enhancing student skills over the summer
