You’ll be providing critical therapy services for a school-based caseload, beginning in late August and covering a 12-week leave, with the possibility of extension. Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to foster student success and independence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings preferred
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with IEPs and student needs
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress toward physical development goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student access and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocacy for student needs
- Adapt therapy interventions to meet diverse student abilities and school environments
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school requirements
