Physical Therapist - School Setting in Raeford, NC

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Physical Therapist with a passion for supporting students across multiple schools near Raeford, NC. This contract role covers both ESY and the full academic school year, combining impactful hands-on service with a varied caseload and collaborative team environment. The selected candidate will work closely with another PT/PTA and benefit from manageable daily schedules and compensated mileage for travel between locations.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist license
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Comfort working with diverse ages, from Pre-K to high school
• Ability to adapt to multiple school environments
• Willingness to obtain fingerprinting prior to working with Pre-K students
• Familiarity with or certification in TPBA (PreK evaluations) highly valued, but not required
• Available for onsite work as part of a two-person team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students (shared with PT/PTA team)
• Travel between schools—locations to be arranged for proximity
• Conduct student evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and families to support student needs
• Ensure compliance with all documentation, reporting, and district policies
• Engage in both ESY and academic year schedules:
  • ESY: July 8–July 30, 2026, Monday–Thursday, 8am–12:30pm
  • Academic Year: August 13, 2026–May 28, 2027, Monday–Friday, 8am–3:30pm (35 hours/week)
