An immediate opening is available for a Physical Therapist serving high school students across four districts in Ravenna, MI. This contract assignment runs through the end of the school year, providing a valuable opportunity to support a diverse caseload of 44 students requiring school-based physical therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and administer school-based PT services in accordance with individual student IEPs
  • Deliver a range of interventions including direct therapy, consultative guidance, and monitoring services
  • Oversee and direct the work of a Physical Therapy Assistant to ensure quality and continuity of care
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials valid in Michigan
  • Experience working in a school setting with a solid understanding of IEP processes and educational mandates
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality care
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with school staff and families
  • Capability to supervise PT assistants

Position Details:

  • Location: High school facilities serving four districts in Ravenna, MI
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Contract term: Immediate start through end of school year (EOSY)
