- Licensed Physical Therapist (active state licensure required)
- Background or experience providing PT services in school or pediatric healthcare environments
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation preferred
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and modify therapy plans as needed
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students, supporting their mobility, function, and participation in school activities
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals
- Work closely with teachers, aides, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into educational programming
- Track student progress, document session outcomes, and adjust strategies for optimal development
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for students’ continued success
- Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere that inspires students to achieve milestones
