Make a positive impact in the lives of K-12 students by providing essential physical therapy services in a school-based setting. This full-time contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through June 26, with potential to continue into the summer.

In this role, you’ll address a caseload of students across all grade levels, helping them reach their mobility and functional goals. You’ll be responsible for delivering approximately 450 compensatory hours, ensuring that students receive the services and support they need to thrive academically and physically.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with classroom staff, students, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies for a diverse K-12 population
  • Timely documentation and case management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in individual and/or small group settings
  • Assess student needs and develop student-specific intervention plans
  • Track and document progress for each student, completing necessary reports and paperwork
  • Work closely with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into academic settings
  • Assist with IEP meetings and communicate therapy outcomes to parents and team members
  • Deliver compensatory physical therapy hours to ensure compliance with student goals
