Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license
- Previous experience working in schools or pediatric therapy settings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of best practices for early intervention and student-centered care
- Proficiency in assessment, development, and implementation of treatment plans to support IEP goals
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability for work in early childhood environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate the needs of early childhood-aged students to develop individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct physical therapy services in collaboration with interdisciplinary school teams
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Coach and consult with educators and parents to facilitate carryover of therapeutic activities
- Support students in achieving functional mobility and maximum participation within the classroom
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
