School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) Full-Time | Reserve, LA | 20262027 School Year

We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time itinerant role supporting a school district in Reserve, Louisiana for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to work across grade levels while making a meaningful impact on student mobility and access to education.

Position Details:

Location: Reserve, LA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Contract Dates: August 3, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Setting: School-based, itinerant role
Grade Levels: All grade levels
Caseload: Approximately 35 students

Responsibilities:

Provide physical therapy evaluations and direct services across multiple school sites
Support students in improving mobility, strength, and functional access to the educational environment
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

Active Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain)
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently in an itinerant setting
